Toxin, I'm glad you lads are enjoying SC2. I really wish I was into RTS, but I'm not. I only ever enjoyed Warcraft 2 and Red Alert 1. I always sucked at it though ... whenever I'm busy chopping wood or building farms, the philistines would come and pillage my village. :(

Hey miss Discombombulator,

Nah, it has a solid SP campaign by the sounds of things - and as with most games, I prefer the offline component far more. I've only clocked about 1hr of online play with Bad Company 2, but loved the SP.

I see you conveniently avoided ThunderAxe's opinion piece on JRPG's...it's like she wrote it just for you! :p

Hahaha, no, she's entitled to her opinion. I just think she could express it a little better but, then again, it's an opinion so how does one express it in the right manner?
 
Hehehehe Voicy, Nope not the idiot.

A really nice friendly girl who cant wait to work for us, she is handing her resignation in today, she has only been 6months at the previous place so hopefully she only has to give a week or two's notice. She also doesnt even have a contract with them! Plus she was the only one who brought samples of her work to the interview. That really impressed the boss, and he liked her work so yar cant wait.

I'm not that good either but I couldn't miss the finale to the Starcraft saga....... been waiting 12 years already. :eek:

Soz powderbucket, you actually need constant interwebs to be able to play. You have to log in evrytime you start the game.......... like WOW.
 
That's pretty gay though.

I'd be pissed if a single player game required me to log online each time. Much like those windows activation games pissed me off to no end.

Oh well - at least I won a BETA key for Medal of Honor this morning! ^_^

Btw, Wyvern - have you seen the old ZANet group? About 100 oldbies on there. Hectique memories!

Nah, I'm so used to playing games online (COD4, COD5, COD6, BF1942, BF2142, BF2, BFBC2, etc etc) that a single player game that requires online doesn't bother me anymore.

I know dude, I jammed BF2 with you for quite a while (Yomah_Sahara). I jammed Bf2/SF/PR, WoW, Aion, GW, LOTRO, COD4/5 online with no hassle. Thing is - those are all games aimed at online play. You'd never consider buying them if you don't have internet. But now nobody who is offline can even play the SP side.
