Because you can't pause and resume that download and I've never had a pleasant experience with download managers.

What do you do to not have a pleasant experiance with them?
Most FTP servers does allow you to resume or else get it from the Http link since those would probably also allow resume.

Corrupted files. I'de much rather have a download late twice as long with a slow torrent than having to down the same thing 5 times just to get it to work.
