I feel my soul returning on weekends, and then on Monday it's that scene from the movie Ghost where those demon things come and pull people down the street.

Hey buddies, what's up? :D

And where's that crazy syco bastard? :p

We're discussing the pros and cons of office work. We're about a quarter through the cons, with no sight of the pros.

Yeah we all did. Then it was slowly torn from our bodies, bit my bit, day by day.

Holy shit dude, I'm getting a bit worried about you. Disappearing for weeks on end, coming back every now and again with a lost limb and all kinds of injuries. Did you start a fight club or something?

His name was Robert Paulsen? xD

I think the worst part about working in an office - or at least working for other people, is that I have no ownership of the clients here. So I'm not allowed to tell a client something can't be done ... I just have to find a way to do it (never mind if it's actually possible or not). And our clients are, almost without exception, the biggest bunch of idiots on the planet.

The day I eventually go insane and kill everyone with a machine gun is creeping closer, and it won't be the violent games that causes it.

Although I hear it's helpful for training and stuff :p

I don't understand how some Engineers can study for 7 years only to end up doing paperwork all the time.

That's why I believe, in this day and age, experience is better than a degree. People who work whilst studying are usually way more desirable. Anyway, I'm just getting some experience and learning as much as I can. Hopefully within the next 4- 5 years I'll be able to start something on my own. Working for a company has it's advantages, but in the end, you're just making someone else rich. Much like staying in a flat, paying someone else's mortgage.

Yeah, hack the planet. It's the only thing to do.

Sup Murphzor.
How did u get on with those tuts?

Hey dude, getting there, busy working through terrain placement at the moment. My terrains keep on fcking out and I don't know why.

I noticed the same thing, place it at 0,0,0 and rotate your camera around. I managed to get past it by moving the camera.

Yeah I placed it like that, but the 'mountains' I make are so huge they cover the screen. But I'll check that out.

Lol. I found that I prefer to use Maya &/or Sketchup to design the levels and then import them into Unity, easier to use. Unity is just what I use to put it all together. Which tutorial you doing at the moment?

That one and audio reverb placement, which I think I should stick to. :p

I haven't done that one yet. Well audio is your field, i'll skim though it focusing more on the Design, mechanics, AI and Animation.

Yeah, I think that's the way to go for both of us. As far as the audio goes, I immediately understand what they mean so I don't have to go googling every five minutes.
