Eks net verveeld - so verveeld dat ek al Murray Walker quotes en Martin Brundle quotes gaan soek het. Plus ek probeer my een vistank se layout change om deel te neem aan 'n planted tank scaping comp, ma dan die ouens wat deel neem is van die beste hier in SA - no chance in hell for me

@Murph - planted tanks is picking up massively in SA in the last year. The comp im considering is a small one to setup a low tech planted tank and the first prize is R2500 worth of aqua goodies such as a complete pressurized CO2 setup I just want the ADA Aqua soil 9L bag is gonna cost me about R450 per bag. But honestly I have no idea what I want to do with the tank. 30L is tiny

You can try something liek this for a small tank
it might take a few moths unfortunately.

I use to keep Oscars in a 600L tank so plants aren't exactly up my alley.

@DCBloodHound - its there that the comp is being run from I am a member there but we only have until 26 Nov. Also limited to low tech and only 6 species of plants. At this point I am considering just some Xmas moss, needle leaf java ferns and a plant that is in my main tank but I have no idea what it is called need to get the Id on that tomorrow. My biggest issue is lighting in the tank since its a Jebo tank it comes standard with 1 T5 8W bulb and I can grow most things in the tank just not carpet plants. And I am doing this low budget - aka with what ever I have at home But I think it could be fun.
