Did a quick compile of the pc i want to build... If i go bare bone, 1X 2TB HHD, 4GB DDR3 Ram, 2X HD5870 and a decent i7 cpu... R40K.

Lol i went top end with most of the stuff. 4gb DDR3 Kingston Ram kits R3K a pop. It was just a quick mesh. Now i go and do research into each componant to find exactly what i want. i7 CPU i want = R10k

Omega that is just madness to spend on a PC
DUDES! I wasn't planning on spending that much.
As for 20 to 30K if u look that i want about 5 X 2tb HDD's, 2 Topend GPU's, 1000w psu, enough ram to kill anything i throw at it then its not so bad spending 30 on it.
