I hope 10 picks up from where 09 ended. :)

I'll be starting January with a bang by way of a weekend in Cape Town. :)

Are you posting from a friend's place or internet cafe or have you finally got an internet connection, Omega?

Much more pleasing to the eye than looking at even an idealised version of myself, don't you think? ;) Yes, I know it is what would be considered "sad", but that doesn't bother me. Not yet, at any rate.

I am saving my bundled games for when I get my VGA cable.

I got Lego Batman and Pure with my Box.

I haven't signed up on Live yet as I was capped before Christmas.
I'll read up on how to do that next year and ask my sister [who works in the UK] for an address to use.

Speaking of "girls", I had a pair smile at me at Woolworths last week.
I hope I smiled back.
 
Do yourself a favour. Get Mass Effect for Xbox, goes for about R200 or something. It a brilliant game. And with ME2 coming out you will want those saves.

Hows Dragon Age by the way? Im plowing steadily on. Got myself a pretty awesome Dwarven Fighter. Duel Wielding specialist. Carries two long swords each doing 11.9 damage with out the runes i have it in.

Oh shit with the Elite you get HDMI cambles. I bought the VGA cable so i could play on my PC LCD. Awesome improvement over standard def tv. Going to get myself an HD 81cm Flat tv soon so i can play the xbox and ps3 both on HD.

Your really lucky you know. The are a shit load of cheap, yet awsome, xbox games out there. Not to mention pre-played. When you come down to cpt go to the new bt in Canal walk or the one in Tyger Valley. They have a lot of pre-played titles.

I can't start Dragon Age until Telkom gives me back my monthly allotment of international bandwidth so that I can authenticate my copy. At least, I am assuming that I need to do this.

I didn't know you had to do that. Suck dude. I had that problem with the Avatar game for pc. needed an internet connection to auth it. Sucked monkey ballz.

Oh yes, reading onscreen text on an SDTV is difficult.
I am going to Hemingways shortly to price VGA cables at Musica, Incredible Corruption, Toys 'r Us and CNA. A pity that HiFi Corporation is at the other side of town. I'll ask me brother to take me there some other time. Then I'll compare local prices to what I can find online and buy whatever seems to be the best deal. I could look for one in Cape Town...

I don't know so much about Tyger Valley, but we will definitely be spending several hours at Canal Walk. I will be bringing allong pocket money and a GAME voucher.

I got mine for about R500, i think thats about the cheapest you can get it retail. Dunno about online. Tyger Valley has a bigger BT games. The one in Canal Walk is a bit under developed.
