So whats your overall opinion of ME Spooner?
Not sure if you saw my comment earlier, but I said that ME was good but not the most epic game I have ever played, BUT that is most likely because its not my favorite genre of game, sci - fi that is.
But it had a seriously great story line and really well put together cut scenes. I will wait to hear about ME2 before I buy I think.
You dont like Sci-fi? ME is like Star Wars for this generation. Even with its flaws ME still has one of the best narratives in gaming, that coupled with the choices carring weight makes it one of my fav games of all time.
Dont worry ill keep you up to date me ME2. Its going to be epic.
I love Star Wars, always have. When it comes to games, Scifi has never been my favorite. I didn't realise that Bioware made ME straight after making Star Wars - the old republic. Interesting.
From a narrative aspect it is the best I have seen!
My favorite sci-fi baced game story has to be Starcraft.
for omegaboiPizza
Thats why I like it, but the Zerg seem to be more like the English than the Protoss.
God now im hungry. Bastid.
I would never have guessed it. Isn't most game some sort of Sci-Fi?
Most awesome thing about the narrative is the choices carrying over to ME2. Your choice to kill Wrex could come back to haunt you when you go to the Krogan home world. Just like my choice to save the rachni could come back and bite me in the ass. Having permanent character death at the end of 2 as a possibility makes all the choices in ME2 the player makes carry consequence.
The zerg have no tech like the idians. The protoss have heavy tech and during the civil war the English had much more advance soldiers, cannons and ships than the colonials.
Sci-Fi I think is a term used loosely. In my mind it is any game / movie / book that has a space / futuristic / alien theme to it. Such as Star Wars / Star Trek etc.
So in that case, no not most games are Sci-Fi.
