I will never spend that much on a card for that very reason. Always look for good deals. Mine cost R2500 a year ago and still runs all the latest games maxed out.

I only upgrade my GFX card when games start strugling at the lowerst settings. Otherwise, my 8800 is still gouing stong, Only games so far I couldn't run and full GFX settings without lag were: RA3, GTA4 (mainly because the retarded thing simply won't let me set it anyhigher) and CoD5 (just had turn of all anti-aliasing)
