BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I work for medicross. I know this tune all too well. From 2007 they had a centrelized credit control department that did fuck all. Now the clinics have credit controllers in house again and they are trying to sort through the shit. Follow up with you medical aid about those service dates and why it wasn't paid, if they say its ICD-10 code or diagnosis code related just take that to the clinic and tell them its their fault, they then have to write it off as it was their mistake.

Their Admin department is really lousy! i have been going there for 3 and half years and they never changed my address! and best of all i was there on friday and they did not say anything about my account being in arrears and i have to pay a flipping R50 admin fee every time i go to see the doctor! i logged a complaint on hellopeter yesterday and the practice manager phoned this morning saying that they will attend to my complaint.

is your friend the extremely tall dude?

im sure the amounts that are outstanding are due to Medicross charging more than what my medical aid is willing to pay for certain services.... flip i think im gonna find another dr to go to cause this is BS, really.

Which medical aid you on? If that was the case it wouldn't be so much. That sounds like billing errors to me. Also tell them (medicross) you want Switch Submission reports. Thats how they submit the claims to the medical aid. It could be that those claims never went through.

I will ask them about that when they phone me. im on elcrappo Spectramed... they have changed admin systems or whatever about 5 times in the last 3 years....
