I even had a company phone me up and offer me a salary which was lower paying than my current job at the time and I literally put the phone down on them... they called back and I asked if they were joking and they said no... so I told them what my pay was like and they kinda went silent... They're just taking a chance hey. Sjoe I'm glad you were so straight forward with them! I emailed him yesterday saying that I cannot accept a position with zero financial security seeing as I have bills to pay and he replies basically just to wish me luck with future endeavours. Bastard.

Anyway, I'm sure there's something out there, it's just taking its time. Until then I can keep acting like a student and having 2min noodles for lunch :D (no lie :o)

Yeh especially here in jhb you can be straight forward and the okes here agree to ur terms but you gotta agree with theirs and make it a win win situation for everyone :D so there you have it if you want a proper job move here to jhb haha...

I had like a BLT Sandwich True story :D
 
I used to think Taylor Swift was stunning til I saw her in Valentine's Day... Still pretty but super whiny and annoying with the body of a teenage boy. Sorry PK :o

Ooh I don't know if I'll survive in JHB... Amazing oppotunities but I won't know a soul there! Plus I'm scared of vaalies... :p I've actually started applying to places in CT (as of this morning!) so we'll see what comes of that. I'm totally open to moving

I think it has something to do with your blinding white bodies that we see on our beaches each year ;)

Nah in my experience JHB guys have been pretty cool actually, haven't met many girls from there though. I've heard you have amazing night life which I'd love to check out. I think the biggest turn off for me is just your traffic... I'm prone to road rage :o

I should actually check out JHB job wise...

Hell well ur more than welcome to call some of us up here in jhb if ur wanting to go jolling... Ag traffic isnt bad if you work and live in the right areas... for me it takes about 30min to get to work in the mornings which isnt too bad :)
 
Sorry Sysco ... I'll never move back to Jhb. You can keep your money, I'll stick to the beach 500m from my house. 10min trip home in peak hour to then go for a longboard session after work is worth more than the extra R4k a month, while rotting away in traffic. :)
