LOL my PC is such a mess, files need to be organized, HDD needs to be defragged, but FFS reinstalling everything takes like the whole day, so I only format when really necessary (in '06 I used to format every month)

Well, there was so much K@K on the drive...it wasn't funny. I had 1/4 left, and I don't have another HDD, so I needed the space.
 
I allways say there needs to be some sort of lincening system before you're allowed to use a computer. Heres some fare criteria:

1: You need to be able to put in all the plugs at the back on a PC before they had all the colour coding.
2: You need to be able to format and install any operating sytem.
3: You need to be able to install hardware drivers.

Also be able to read you motherboard drivers cd's writing. Stop asking what does the motherboard cd LOOK LIKE FFS its a dam CD

I can do that shit with my eyes closed. I was 12 when I built my first pc. I did have help but back then it was allot harder than todays machines.

And you need to actually have Licensed distributors of the hardware who actually give you the correct drivers. Yeah, I don't have those LAN drivers. My mom who bought the computer let someone else assemble and install everything - even thought she could have done it. Aaargh! And he never set up the LAN connection.

Other than that, I can pretty much do all of that.
 
The one thing that gets my coat is when they sell you laptops they don't give you anything! no nothing and when you need to format you must be really careful not to format the recovery hhd space.
 
I have no doubt that just about anybody here on MyG can't, but I'm talking about all those other idiots who don't know what the fuck there doing when they buy a computer.

And thats why you shouldn't buy a laptop without your windows and driver discs
