So does the wireless control eat batteries:(

It's actually not that bad hey...they last quite long, but it surely is more convenient having a battery pack.

Yeah exactly. My biggest gripe would be not being able to install games. The hum of the xbox drive can send a man to his grave

But with the new update I recall that you can use external drives to save on etc...up to 16 gig per usb port or something like that. Makes it a bit more viable.

I found mine sucked the life from batteries. Decent batteries at that.

Yeah true that is actually a good point.

Well, it's their loss if they messed up the pic. I'm sure that if you told them them you wanted the one in the pic they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

True - the text on the ad specifically says Arcade including Forza and Halo - but the pic is definately the one i've seen on elite ads

A hour a day. so far.

They'll last long then, not to worry. I play fairly regular and long sessions at a time, but not every day, and with that my batteries have so far lasted about a month. Just make sure you get a decent battery and not a cheap one...those cheap eveready batteries only last about 10 hours or so.

Hehehe...yes! I haven't changed them for some time! I've probably gotten a good 20+ hours out of them so far...using the better of the Energizer batteries. Not much life left in them though.

That said though, Tsar, it is more viable in the long run to just get yourself something like a play-n-charge kit.
