Well my previous rig used to overheat, so yeah, one thing I made me change to Intel.
But I think they have improved since then I am sure.

Bwhahaha. . . . I used to be a Nvidia fan as well, till I got my 5850.
ironically i use my amd for gaming (it just seems better 2me) and the intel machine for tasks like rendering, downloading and watching chuck etc.

I cant actually argue with you on that because I have heard the same. My next upgrade I may just consider a AMD again.
