Spybot's S&D doesn't work too badly. But ya, I get irritated diving into the registry. I'm just irritated beyond all comparison with the people here who fuck everything up and always just expect me to fix it. They don't even make an attempt to solve something, but they have the audacity to call themselves "engineers", despite not being properly qualified yet. It pisses on my battery.

Ooh I had that virus... Or one like that. Some kind of worm that disabled task manager and wouldn't let me even play a movie for one minute without a window popping up and shutting now the programme...

Tried to sort it out with written instructions from my mate but I couldn't do it and now the pc is gathering dust in my room... :/

Ag don't know if it apply s but avira got a bootable virus scan program:

I also hate doing the registry thing :S

Its not bad since you can get virus this way.
After that you can install Malwarebytes (it can be insalled in safemode) just run it and it will most likely get those few malware left.

The other day I had a client with a virus that was corrupting files she opens <<< what a fking beach to remove it and try to recover the data.

/claps PK for blowing that so close THING to my ear :mad:

I can agree there thats why i learn things on my own its better that way...
