hitting on $60 that have spent on steam specials ... (so far)

Toxin - you need to pace yourself, there is still a week left. :)

Mosdt of the games I bought were the $5 specials..... just the Squire Enix package nailed me.
But I'm done now hey. Unless there's truly something astounding I won't be buying anything else.....

/holds fingers that there won't be anything truly astounding

The whole trick to Demons souls is timing, if your timing is off, you dead, you start from the start. The enemies are brutal, 2 shots and you are dead, and sometimes what seems to be an easy kill turns out to be deadly. You have to plan your attacks. I started with a Temple knight, found his attack to slow, on Moody's recommendation I am now using a Royalty, a caster. Still tough.

I got Batman on Xbox, have it on PC as well but never got round to playing it, selling that now.

So does RDR getting boring after while? I think there was a lot of hype over this game but that died it seems.

I still need to finish Darksiders, its dragging out a little.

Also got myself Little Big Planet GOTY, awesome game :D

Yep all about timing.

RDR is a wonderful sandbox game, i just got pissed of with the missions. Got boring, go there, kill that, bring back this. Im more of a "There is your sandbox go do what ever the fuck you want in it." but giving me a sandbox with hardly any long term appeal toys just got old. Same a GTA IV, although i still have GTA IV. RDR just rubbed me up the wrong way from day 1.

Hear what you are saying. I am busy with Infamous, love it, but getting bored of doing the same things over and over.

Yep, had the same problem with Infamous, although i did like the twist at the end. GTA IV was the last sandbox i played and enjoyed, i passed up a few other titles coz i know i get bored of the box. With RDR i got caught up in the hype. There are people who will love it but id rather play something with a better structure, Halo, GOW, Gears, Witcher and so on. WOW is the only game that really succeeds as a Sandbox, simply coz its packed with so many awesome toys to keep you occupied for 2 or even 3 different play through.

Sandbox games in general are not my favorite. I get bored to quickly. Busy downloading The Witcher, keen to give it a go.

I finally got my 100% completion achievement for RDR last week. The game gave me 42 hours of gameplay, but I'm wondering whether I want to go for the last couple of of achievements (7).

Im not a completest so it doesn't bug me that i didn't finish it.

It's a curse but there's something about achievements that just makes me want to finish them. :)

But finishing the single player missions itself is just one part of getting the 100% completion achievement. Took me another 15 hours AFTER finishing the single player missions just to get it. But it was fun. Having to kill a bear with only your knife for a hunting challenge makes things interesting. :D
