I am gonna kill the idiot who is "helping" out at our offices. Hes been causing all kinds of trouble with the network and plotters. But he supposedly knows IT.

Even I know more than this idiot does. Hes uninstalled the antivirus we had installed, installed various small progs that we dont use = i.e. not compatible with Auto Cad. Seriously considering setting up an admin on all the pcs to prevent him from fiddling anymore. He has even uninstalled Auto Cad and installed Caddie - he cant use auto cad so he removed it from the pc. . . Do you know what a mission it is to reinstall that - almost as bad as Pastel!

What a douce. Love it when IT lighties think they know it all and just assume instead of doing proper research.

Wyvern, speaking of ...

Do you perhaps know of an application that converts from scanned PDF's to 2D CAD files? We've scanned a ton of A0/A1 legacy hand-drawn design sketches and need to get it in electronic format to work on.

I'm not in the mood to reference PDF's in and trace lines. Aideâ„¢ isn't working very well. :(
