Heya Tsar
It's not going. Not really. My body hates me too much. Only have about 30 minutes at home today and this is it before I'm off again. I just want to sleeeeep![]()
Hey Voices,
It's a bit of a mouthfull really
It's a bit of a mouthfull really, ahem: Chinese, Industrial Sociology and Organisational Psychology. It's a Bachelor of Social Sciences. Triple majoring over 4 years, currently in my third year. Busy with a silly research project now though for Industrial Sociology, even though it's holidays
Did interviews this morning, then had a birthday party thing to attend at the botanical gardens, now going to lunch/supper with other friends then hitting Fourways tonight. Had half a bottle of Smirnoff last night so ya, not particularly keen but can't get out of itWhy what are you doing![]()

(Sorry, I couldn't refuse. I'm such a kid. I apologize)
Sounds quite intense. I don't know much about majors and minors when it comes to studying. I did my B.Tech in Elec eng at a technikon where you don't have general subjects and majors...you pretty much have to do everything and then pick a field in either Heavy current, comms or digital systems. Supposedly a 4 year course, but they make you do it in 5 so you do your research project in the last year while you start working.
I'm interested to know why you took Chinese. I'd never be able to learn a language from a book. The only way I learnt to speak English and German was by living in places where people spoke it constantly & reading it in papers and hearing it on the news and seeing it being spoken in movies/tv shows.

Chinese is pretty intense because you're not only learning a language but a new system of writing as well. That said, it's pretty awesome and the Chinese government is giving us a lot to study it, like free trips to China and scholarships. Guess I took it because I love Asia and there's lots of job opportunities if I have it. You just have to practice a crap load, every day.
Aaaah need to run. Bye all. Just wanted to pop in to see how things were![]()
