i know. But still putting it at 18 degrees is a bit ridiculous.... whats wrong with 21 degrees? Our aircons dont even work properly the one sounds like its going to explode and just blows cool air and the other only works ok if you keep it on for days and never switch it of. why cant architects just put proper windows in buildings???

Oh architects can put in the windows, strangely enough the person who wants office buildings doesnt want many windows, we get it all the time, they just want the minimum to get by the fire regulations and that is it, since windows are more expensive than bricks :P

LOL Thanks - no need to run :) but still 18 is too cold. isnt there some kind of middle ground?

our building has lots of glass... its just not all of it can actually open....and the one's that can open barely let any drafts in
 
Wenz that sucks, we tend to fight with clients about this often, in houses they want to many windows and in offices too little, oh and we use shopfronts or else they get windows that open, "fire regulations" is our famous argument :P Its one of the few things my boss actually takes a firm stand on, if there are windows, they must be able to open up!

well whoever refurbished this building must have had a beautiful mind cause i doubt even a child will be able to fit through one of these open windows and the bright sparks also built some kind of wall skirting right behind the aircon vent so the aircon keeps recirculating its own hot air....

Fair enough, 18 maybe is a bit chilly for some.
 
Grim is your office a formal one? like in the whole tie and long sleeve shirt type? if not maybe you should wear a short sleeve shirt to work?

Formal, but no tie formal. I wear smart pants and a shirt everyday, but yeah I could wear a short sleeve one, except I think I will look dorky :D

I roll my sleeves up instead :p

lol @ dorky. you get nice short sleeve colar shirts.... just depends with what kind of pants you wear them....

dont worry Omega i dont think theres anything wrong with that unless you button up all the buttons to the top.....
