Yep, main reason me and Grim stopped bothering with PC, if you have a console its a whole lot less trouble. Yeah it costs a little more but damn at least it fucking works. Dont let ur poor gf suffer.

I could think of nothing worse. Seriously the biggest load of bull shit that you have to go through that.
PC: put game in drive, wait, load steam, wait some more. Realise steam is not updated, wait between 10 mins and 10 hours, finally install game, update game for another 10 mins - 10 hours, wait for game to load, tweek graphics, try play, game crashes, MP lags, you get the picture . . . .
Xbox: Unwrap plastic, walk over to Xbox, open tray, insert disc, close tray, sit on couch, Tap A, Play game. Enjoy.

Precisely. This weekend, when I get AC3, it's going to be just that simple. By the time I finish the game and jol some MP, Treyarch may just have fixed their game. Maybe.

100%, why should you have to fight with 100 MB patches, slow load speeds and poor graphics performance? Thats not why I spent R15K on a PC (which I now highly regret). Get yourself a R3000 xbox and you are in gaming heaven, no bull shit.
You should see how black ops runs on my 40" screen, it is amazing! So So smooth. I watched the guys playing it on Saturday, my god! It looked like they were running old voodoo cards and trying to play the game.
What makes me annoyed is that they have the cheek to sell you a R450 game that is half done.

Well according to a dude from Treyarch, we just have to STFU and wait till they're finished patching it. Thing is it's working for loads of people, I am one of the unlucky ones. But shit my PC more than fits the specs so I don't see why I have to fucking Puzzle Quest my way through the weekend.
