Hmmm... there's major perks in working for Chinese people too. They have a lot of Chinese Festivals which they celebrate here with lots of amazing food and booze... And it's amazing how they tolerate laziness, and you'd think not!

It's actually the chinese department at Rhodes. They're always chilling... I mean, they do what they have to do and do it well, but they love giving the students and staff free stuff all the time. And they make a mission out of Chinese Festivals... They have a great culture in my opinion, always wanting to share good times and make memories... haha :)

My genius bosses forget about holidays.

Once we had to install an incinerator and do it on 1 May, "workers day" they wanted to be at home. The incinerator rolled off the truck.

This is true... They do tell us 3 days before that we have a massive oral exam... we all start panicking and they're just like "Well you should keep up with your work anyway..." So we do have to make an effort but they reward us nicely.

Yeh its the same in our company with our jewish partners, if they see you work hard they certainly reward you. Like last week they took me out for breakfast :)
