I feel your pain and try to avoid office socials like the plague. Unfortunately we're only about 7-8 staff which makes it painful. Can't wait to run off each time.

I'm a COMPLETELY different person at work and I refuse to go to any of their social invites or even have them as buddies on my facebrick KTV friendship wall.

Im the same. Im here to work, not to be friends. Plus is your in a senior position and become friendly it makes disciplining them harder and harder.

9H 40M (Work hours) till Im on leave & 48 hours till my flight leaves.
