I'm working on my own type of Near Future sci-fi story. It's a bit of speculatory science and a war drama rolled into one. It's set a little earlier than your's but the same kind of technologies you see in games like C&C3

I could never really get into scifi. I did like Starship Troopers and Heinlein's other books.

Im listening to the Ender Sage. Epic Sci-Fi. problem today with much of the classic sci-fi like Neuromancer and stuff like that is that it just sounds so far removed from the tech we have. I mean William Gibson coined the term cyberspace and his version of it is totally different to what we know as cyberspace.

The other thing is since the LOTR trilogy hit cinema's people have gone fantasy all the way. Go to any book store there will be more fantasy (tweenpire and zombie) novels and all their sub section but actual good, readable, believable sci-fi is rare if not damn near impossible to find.

Serious

I guess that is a good thing dude, only a few days into the year and sounds like you going to have a heart attack, not worth it.

Yeah no, my parents landed last night from their trip to germany and after speaking to both i now know its the right thing to do. My gut has been telling me to get the hell out of dodge for months now. Kinda expected my dad to tell me to hang in there and stuff like that but he said its not worth it, even offered to look around the place where he works for admin positions. So yeah.

Cool bro, best of luck. I had the same shit when I was programming, worked for the biggest c*** in the world.

One day all shit broke loose, I packed my stuff and waved bye bye, best thing I ever did.
