Morning all.

Wenz will join tonight or tomorrow for some BO I decided to topup my bandwidth seeing as there are still a week to go to end of the month and 400meg is not going to last that long.

oh cool. Ja i have 1.8Gb that i have to use before the end of the month. hopefully my connection will be a bit better tonight cause it kept dropping last night....and hopefully there will be more ppl on the mixed/non HC servers, cause i just get annihilated on the HC servers :o

I dunno dude, hard to explain. Maybe I am just bored with it. Don't feel involved with the characters or the story. I guess I am also not the biggest survivor horror fan. Don't even know if I will finish it.

Well the story does sometimes fail to deliver, and if you dont read all the text logs and listen to audio logs the over reaching story is a bit 1 dimensional. Remember that Isaac, the player character, is there not only as an engineer but as a husband/bf also. His GF/wife Nicole worked on the ship, worst of all is he suggested or got her the job. So he is desperately looking to find her. The fact that he is mute does hurt the narrative a bit, u never feel the urgency. Then again the silent protagonist means that u get to project onto him.

I am also not the biggest Survival horror fan but I love dead space to bits. It remains one of the best games i've played in recent years.

Yeah I think you have made a pretty accurate assessment there.

Maybe Dead Space 2 will improve on number 1's short falls.

That doesn't sound too exciting...It's going to be 35 degrees on Friday and 33 or so on Saturday O.o We in for a scorcher here this weekend!

its supposed to rain here in summer but not as much as its been doing now... at times i feel like im in durban(its cloudy and hot and stuffy here even while its raining and yet we have no ocean to go cool off in.)

At least now I know before hand and can leave the aircon on over night :P I prefer a hot weekend where I can jump in the pool to cool off than sitting in a stuffy office all day!

I have figured out why i dislike my job so much. I am in a position of authority, i have a whole heap of responsibilities where upon failing to meet there responsibilities could mean disciplinary action or even my job (had i not quite already). However My position of authority has alot in common with the cake from Portal, in that it is a lie. And since my authority is a lie or a illusion my ability to meet my responsibilities is compromised leading in a vicious circle from which there is no escape.

Thus I am tired of the responsibility.
