I have figured out why i dislike my job so much. I am in a position of authority, i have a whole heap of responsibilities where upon failing to meet there responsibilities could mean disciplinary action or even my job (had i not quite already). However My position of authority has alot in common with the cake from Portal, in that it is a lie. And since my authority is a lie or a illusion my ability to meet my responsibilities is compromised leading in a vicious circle from which there is no escape.

Thus I am tired of the responsibility.

lol ok. so is this you refering to you no longer being a moderator on MyG or just in general to your work?

Unfortunately responsibility is the key ingredient to success, as much as that sux.

Nah gave up moderating coz i just didn't have the time to do it properly and i got into trouble for being... well me. :)

Yep that it is and I wouldn't mind the responsibility had the authority to carry out those responsibilities not been a lie.

Yeah that sux. I hate the whole "we going to be giving you more responsibility" speech :rolleyes:

making it so that you can unlock ur front door with ur mobile phone, open and close curtains, switch on lights, direct audio all with mobile devices or over the net. Remember in big bang theory when they let people around the world turn lights on and off in their apartment... like that except nobody but the home owner gets to do the switching on and off.
