Morning all :)

So I had my first day as an Environmental Control Officer at a small UK fashion photo shoot on Llandudno bach yesterday. Beautiful day on the beach, nice clothes and free food! :) Someone said to me that being an ECO is probably the most glamorous form of conservation one can get. lol :P

Thank goodness my car's repairs is stopping me from getting that, its very tempting!

I want winter now pls. This heat is becoming unbearable, if I got 4 hours sleep that was a lot. I would turn the fan of try to sleep - to noisy, turn it off and its so hot I cant breathe, plus since we dont have burglar bars I cant sleep with my windows open :(

Hi Murph and Omega :)

Yeah, it's on a free lance basis..Guy in charge basically sms's at the beginning of the week and asks for availability and you get placed somewhere from there. Pay is R60/hour, which is not too bad :)

Yeah Bro, she gets paid the big $ for making sure they dont mess with nature while we get paid peanuts to make sure to branches dont fall into anarchy... the universe is so not fair.

Nature is awesome.

Haha dude in a few months, the anarchy will passed over to someone else. Telling you HQ has NO idea what they're getting themselves into.

Hi Wyv :)

Basically, I just check that they have all the relevant permits and make sure they comply with the conditions stated on it. And I make sure they don't harm any indigenous vegetation, don't litter and ensure they leave the place the way they found it or better :)
