Grim you guys must be getting excited hey :P

Murph's its always sad to have to put a pet down, I still hate it. But then in the long run your saving him from pain.

Just dont make the mistake of rushing out to replace him. Mourn his loss for at least 6 months,

Yeah, I didn't want her to get worse or suffer, so it was the right time.
I have another dog, so I'm not totally lonely. :p

Yeah you may want to hold out there :p

Yeah, excited indeed.

I haven't had enough sleepless nights, so I figured I would order some more :D

Had to put my Alaskan Malamute down a few months back, he went blind a year ago and then had a stroke. Hardest day of my life when I had to take him to the vet and leave without him.

I was to a certain extent very lucky that i was in the uk when my parents had to put my Bu down (Stunning GErman Shepard). I had him from the day he was born. We owned his mum and breeded with her and he was one of the 8 pups. We sold the rest, kept him cos from even before he could see he would crawl around looking for me. There was no way I was selling this clumsy pup. I had him for 14 years. SO i cant complain but I cried my eyes out when my mum phoned me and told me he was put down. My room mate at the time even bought me a woof teddy bear to cheer me up. I just adore all our dogs and even tho its a part of life, its the part I hate most. Our old lady is now 14, and she is showing signs of her age, her hips and hind legs are slowly starting to fail. We have already decided to put her down the moment she shows any discomfort.
