Yes their house prices are through the roof but is ours really any different, if you want a nice 3 bedroom house in a decent area ur going to pay through your nose for it.

I thinks its all about the mind set.

One of my biggest driving forces for going there is the ability to actually get into a school that teaches game development and getting into the industry.

Another reason for getting the fuck out of this country: the goverment and particulary Home Affairs is FUCKING USELESS! Took a second copy of my wedding register form in on the 22nd of Feb after they "lost" my first one. Phone now to hear if its ready and guess what? THEY ARE STILL FUCKING ASKING ME FOR THE FORM!!! HOW FUCKING USELESS CAN THESE PEOPLE BE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I bought a R60 cake from Spar since it would seem nobody else was going to take any initiative.
This is how I like leaving a job, like a thief in the night. Six months down the line it should be like I never existed at all.

Eish Omega :( That really sucks. I was so surprised when my parents and bother had to renew their SA passports....went in the one day, got all the paperwork filled in and got an sms a month later to say that they are ready. Really quick for once

Back in 03 when i first applied for my Passport it was also relatively smooth. But it seems to have gone down hill alot since then.

Yeah. I was shocked when I watched the whole Home Affairs expose on Carte Blanche. This was around the time when the Zimbabweans had to get their paperwork in order to legally stay and work here. All those corrupt officials

@ Omega. Yeah, made a decent amount of money in the last 2 weeks of Feb (only started working then). This week has been a bit quieter, but had one decent job this week :)
