Yeah me 2, but it looks like a big load of fail from what I have read.

4 - 5 hour SP is honestly just BS.

Totally. I would like to see a FPS that doesn't rely on MP for padding. Generally I hate MP anyway.

Oh and I finished Brotherhood last night. Disappointing game.

Currently, everyone complains about the shortness of games. Campaigns often only last between 5-10 hours, and this is considered to be completely insufficient for a gamer’s needs. This is especially prevalent in the FPS genre, where one can sit down with Modern Warfare 2 and finish it in a single Saturday (of course it’s a prerequisite that you despise sunlight, people and air). With the hefty price tags games are carrying these days, it’s hardly surprising that we want a little more bang for our buck, isn’t it?

Unfortunately we persist in making terrible decisions when confronted by the aforementioned mustachioed smoke. Games in their current, “too short” state are often left unfinished as it is. Almost everybody has that backlog of games they still intend to play, or still intend to finish. It’s a bit like that Thank You letter we’ve been meaning to write to Grandma for that delightful socks-and-underwear set she sent three Christmases ago – if we’re honest with ourselves, we never really expect that letter to be written, and we’ll never see the final boss in Bioshock 2. If all games took 100 hours to finish, we may never finish a game again. In line with the video game industry’s rapid growth, AAA titles are being released every month, and the “must play” list of games grows every single year. There’s a lot of quality out there, and if you’re an avid gamer, you want to get your hands on it all. If every video game was a 3-month long love affair, we’d never finish them before the next big thing came out, and we’d have our hands perpetually full with new releases. Not to mention the fact that with a drastic increase in game time, will most likely come a decrease in quality, especially in genres such as FPS.

Food for thought.

Omega I'm not talking about a 50 hour campaign - that would be torture. But one that won't take literally one night to finish.

How many games have you got to finish?

I know myself I have Saboteur, BF BC2, Transformers War for Cybertron, Modnation Racer, Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, Dante's Inferno, Castlevanian, Ninja Gaiden 2.

In not saying its ideal but think about it, we don't finish the ones we do have, how can we then bemoan the shortness of a campaign?

I always finish decent games.

lol yeah was suicide night boet. Just chilled with some green beers :p

loooooooooool well if I wasnt doing anything I would have probably joined you :). And tonight I've been invited by this lady to a house warming at her place tonight and im like ok...

Yes we can. Not finishing games is a personal issue - and yes I have loads of games to finish - but selling a 4 hour campaign and thinking everyone will accept MP to make up the difference is BS.
