Oy I play the game, not just cos its WoW, its the community I play with that makes it fun for me :P Besides I play other games as well :P
 
MissM I saw that. I just never understood the reasoning behind playing a game on copied servers, that just dont have the community that proper ones have. But to each their own.

Oi I wasn't generalizing!! :p I was simply making a simple observation that the people who dedicate their time and lives to the game are the snotty ones...

If u are referring to your thread here and on MyBB about the unofficial WoW server, then I would say you must expect to get a response like you did (esp on MyBB). I don't think the official server WoW players like the private servers being advertised much

No not you, just some of those posters :) Mainly myBB, I was a bit put off at the responses since I was just asking if any of them played on there.

TP just ignore them dude, if you really enjoy it then hell why should their idiotic comments matter... Like some people look down upon us people in IT so some people look down upon those that play WoW... I'm not a WoW fan myself but I do enjoy the odd MMO here and there :)

Yeah...ag, they just very sensitive when it comes to the whole private server thing as that debate has come up many a time on the MyBB WoW (and other) forums.

Perhaps you will enjoy it enough to come over to official and experience a real community :)

Syco Get me chocolate! mite help me calm down :P

Tpex yea its a fun game, but it really does get better when you join a nice guild. Im still looking at joining MissM's guild once she is bored with rift :P

hehe :) Yeah...I still have game time on my WoW guild till the 29th on the month. I know quite a few Braaivleisers have also started playing Rift and a few are in the Prophecy guild. But I am sure I will go back to WoW one day.... :p
 
I actually joined an alliance guild on Stormrage :P But yea I was sad that Rift didnt manage to get me interested. Im waiting on TSW and Alice!

Nope Aion, the grind killed the game for me. If it wasnt for that I would have kept at it.

Yeah, that's the one MMO I haven't tried yet (Besides Warhammer and Conan)...I don't really know why, as it looks like the type of MMO I would enjoy...Maybe one day :p
