Heh twisting my ankle was a minor ouchie in my life :P I can tell you stories! Just on my right hand I have 8 scars - not tiny ones - proper scars :P

In afrikaans I was, actually still am, 'n ongeluksvoël :P

Between broken ankles, stitches in my head and arm I can handle most pain. But If you try to cut your fingernails in front of me I will faint :P

Hehehe I was a tomboy when I was growing up - so lots of falls and scrapes and so forth from playing outside.

The hand was an accident - was helping parents make boerewors, we have this huge industrial mincer. Some how (Im still blurry on what happened that day) I got my hand in the mixer.

Basically - Lost the tip of my thumb, broke my index finger in 3 places almost severed the finger, same for middle finger, ring finger was severed, pinky was fine. Also have a huge scar across my palm where the blade managed to cut my hand to the bone.

Fortunately I was lucky that my mum reacted fast and got me to a hospital very fast. 9 hour op to fix the hand. 2 years of physio and various ops to fix the hand. now you hardly notice it :D I was flippen lucky. (i was 14 when it happened)

Stiches in my scalp was a lovely accident when I did gymnastics, we where setting up the parallel bars for practice and this stupid girl dropped the beam on my head.

It depends on if your talking about me?? :P

If so yes im pretending I didnt see it :P

Wyv you sound just like my 1 friend, so is also forever falling and twisting things etc, mind you she also has bad luck it seems with stuff biting her... from spiders etc...

Holy smoke!

Thats crazy! Shame!

My dad did something similar a few years back, cut the whole top of his ring finger off. Was messy.

Funnily enough he was so chilled about it, I think it was so bad that his body was like "fuck this I aint even going to register the pain!" :D

Hehehe Wenz - I know no worries :P I cant bend in anycase to save my life right now! The bloody tape they stuck on my prevents that!

Grim, I can honestly say I remember most of that day up to the accident, I remember being driven to the hospital, I remember waking up after the op Sick as a dog.

It took me 4 months to look at my hand, because I couldnt cope with the accident. I had no idea what was under the bandages. I almost lost 2 fingers, Im still in contact with the doc who saved my hand and still very grateful to him. The pain part I just have no idea about - completely blocked. I do know I cant handle movies and shows where they show ppl loosing fingers and hands. I also tend to freak out if ppl play with knives around me. Its also why I take over in a kitchen - I will rather cook than have someone cutting themselves when Im around :P
