I wonder how some goes and digs up an old thread. Do they scroll through all the pages and then say hmm let me post in this.

Although - at the same time, how many of those 250 extra are going to hang around after the comp, and how many are going to turn into actual, valuable, contributing members? We might get 5, if we're lucky - but in the meantime the banality of some of the posts make me want to scream.

Oh well ... just need to endure for a short while, I think.

Nope, haven't seen a single bug or dodgy looking NPC yet. Consequence is one thing i still have to see in the long run, short term i have; botched a questioning leading the one of the suspects shooting the other one which made me shoot him...

I've had this conversation with Tinman, even if only 20% of the entire lot stick around and out of them only 5% become regular posters its a win.
 
im officially not buying new games (except forza 4, gears 3 and the halo remake) for the next few months, i've bought 5 pre used games for the price of what 1 new game cost. im definately saving top dollar this way

Something like that, its all a numbers game. Their sponsors sees the numbers and in return they are able to host bigger better comps. Only a naive person would think this is actually about the people.

And hurt my chances of winning the comp due to being a doos? Nah its ok. I will resist until i can do so no further. Plus I have more constructive ways to waist my time than marveling at the stupidity of the human race.
 
the xbox vs ps3 thread should be renamed the left 4 dead thread cause all i see in there are a bunch of brainless replies and comments ! 6 years have passed and still idiots are believing the true potential of the ps3 hasnt been reached yet lol

Feck I managed to get an ink cartridge, now they havent even printed the URGENT stuff. . .
