I would love to know how he decides which threads he wants to necro? There seems to be no rhyme nor reason involved. But then again I dont think hes very bright. . .

Why dont you have both plugged in?? Mine has lasted me since 2004 and still going strong... Dude I wouldnt swop mine out for anything and I tend to use my stuff until it literally goes for good :)

got mine since 06 (molested on a daily basis) still workin tray is a bit busted, have to push in manually but still opens by itself ! still burns discs better than newer dvd burners
