He's permanently posting away on myGaming - so at least he looks busy.

His boss must've been hella impressed at how hard he's been "working" lately.

Too late - I already got my raise.

I only noticed 2 months down the line when I looked at a bank statement - I mean, fuckit - I could get myself a bigger raise by waitering once a week.

I'll give you R50 for it!

Isn't there something like a 7-day cancellation option?

Careful, I might just take you up on that offer.

Nope. I asked for a trial, "we no does that no mo'." I was told that it is pro-rata and that they charge one month in advance. So, I get charged R37 for one month, R539 for the next and then R539 for the month after (July).

I ask for clarification on this, it takes them three days to respond.

Also, compared to OpenWeb Gold? BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA. No thanks.

So I'm trying to pawn the crap off for cheap to someone who wants to try MWEB.

That's what initially stopped me from actually signing up with MWeb when they launched their uncapped. Took them 2 days + to get back to e-mails, and when I called for clarification I got conflicting info.

So I was like, WTF - sign up with WebAfrica.

Yeah, their service sucks.

I'm pretty happy with OpenWeb all things considered. There are just pros and cons to every backbone and considering that, in total, uncapped 4Mb internet in ZA costs about R1,000, I'd like as close to "perfect" as I can get. It seems that OpenWeb Gold is as close to global-standard uncapped internet as it gets here without paying in excess of R2,500 per month.

Oh well...

I got rid of that chick that I was going to date. She wanted to wait for 9 months before we can meet what bs.
And no I don't think she was pregnant:p

I only have a 384 line, so I wouldn't have a use for it :(

If it follows as a result of direct marketing, then you do have a 7-day cancellation period regardless of what they say. Did they maybe send you an email that you responded to...? That's the only way out of it that I can think of.

I miss my MWEB account. The problem with free access is that you don't get to be choosy :p

According to the CPA (from what I've heard) you're supposed to be allowed to give 20-days notice (screw calender month) but it's hardly as though I have the means to have an all-out battle with them to get my money back.

MWEB have always been a vile company and it's good to see that nothing has changed in the last decade.

Hi friends and Vaalies ... hope you're all well!

Grats to Mappy! Now not even Mortal Kombat will be mappy balanced. :/
