I was rather lucky, whilst staying in North London (Golders Green), we had 1 place in walking distance from us - best pizza and pasta, or a 5min bus ride to the best chinese food as well as indian food. Just avoid places like Pizza hut, Pizza Express, I found Nando's was very good there as well.

And then go to Camden on a saturday, they used to have a food market on saturdays. Something of everything and it was cheap.

Hey Grim for a file that slipped through the diary cracks and only came up now and for some reason this was my fault....

I couldn't beleive the price of pizza in the UK. Pizza hut was something crazy like 10 - 12 pounds for one :eek:

Yeah next time. Probably keeping my gaming rig so whenever you guys jolling let me know.

You must know going out for dinner is a HUGE thing for us, don't get to do it often :p
 
Anyone know where i can have business cards printed at a reasonable rate and where i dont have to order 500 business cards? also i need to have signage made for our office doors.

some of the ppl i have phoned are just ridiculous...

Wenz - do you have the art work for the cards? If you do, give Postnet a call. We recently had 250 done by them as well as letterheads, not that pricey and they work fast - ours was ready the same day.
 
Hey Wyvz thanks i will give them a call. i do have the artwork but its in cdr format and i know the other printers we used last time had an issue with that. i will have to check and see if i can change the format myself and keep the quality....

Wenz - call them first - they might be able to use that format. I know they where not as fussy as some private companies. We just lost it after paying a "graphic designer" over R1500 for business cards and letter heads and she couldnt even use logic to centre the text properly!

The guy who did ours for us at Postnet was fast, effeciant and he did what we wanted with no problems. And I could pick it up from them the same afternoon which was a huge bonus. We use them now for a lot of other work as well, we found its cheaper for them to do our sketchplans and so forth in colour than for us. Also less hassles, was rather impressed with that.
