He/she would charge the animal, stab it full force with a spear, with such strength behind it, it would go through the animal, get stuck and the hunter would simply have to hang on till the animal died. Nom nom.

Back to TK stuffs ... I want you guys to keep an eye on the news ... there's going to be random slaughter in one of Vodacom's branches at some point this week.

Unless they play nice.

Well ... I had a 3G contract with them - or so I believed.

My contract ran out end of July, and I specifically went into a store to submit a request that the 3G service be terminated on the 31st of July. With a copy of my ID and signed papers and all that jazz.

I figure today I would log into my profile and double-check. And lo ... we find that the account is still active, with a full allocated data allowance for August, and a pending bill for R220.00.

I vented on Twitter ... 5 minutes later Vodacom Support is following me and asking me to DM my details through. They better sort it - if I see money going off my account next month (other than my cellphone) things are going to get ugly.

Eeeck ok. my boss had similar trouble with them a while back with a 3G dongle.... they removed the cap on the dongle and allowed ussage to go up to 20k. they never even let him know that listen your accounts going to be sky high....

Old problem - they've never capped the accounts. They just let you keep using - and with the OOB rates they had back then you could run up massive bills.

I used to check my usage daily - but their website malfunctioned for a while - exactly at the same time as my PC decided to download massive updates ... and I got a nice R1.2k surprise at the end of the month.
