Yeah, I was supposed to be working today, but I am manager at work and told one of the other minions to work instead. Fun being manager lol. But I have to do gardening today coz my yard is looking like crap.

On an embaresing note, I played Halo for the first time on the weekend. Also first time ever playing on an Xbox.
Please nobody shoot me...

Hey there is a first time for everything! Hope you enjoyed it. Which Halo did you play?

Halo 3 is epic! Finished it twice. Once co op. Halo Reach is just as great!

I think it was ODST or Halo 3, wouldn't really know. We were playing multiplayer. 2 xboxes and 2 big ass tv's. So it was 6 way. Really got my ass handed to me, well I killed my gf a few times so I beat her at least lol

myGaming sent out an e-mail this morning about the Exclusives comp - but instead of opening a thread for Week 14 - it links to Week 13, and I now have a billion and a half morons entering a closed comp.

Sounds like ODST then. ODST is ok, but Halo 3 is way better. Try play the SP, its a great adventure!

sometime I will, I don't have an xbox so won't be able to play unless I go to my friends place, and Saturday was the first time i had seen them since like years so... Haven't even played the PC version of the first halo, never seen it in the shops.

Then someone still entered. His first post too, so maybe not even from the mail, you would think he'd read a bit more carefully

It's not even on my radar - the forum's giving them free stuff - so I'm not going to go through the extra effort of carrying their entries across. I'm working on the same basis as I do regarding the posting of the rules - if they don't want to make the very slight effort of reading and abiding by them, then I don't feel like making the effort of letting them qualify for the comp.

It's not like I didn't make it incredibly apparent that the thread was closed.

If they're halfway clever they'll notice and post their entries in the new thread.

Btw ... has to0ks popped in yet. Congrats on winning Week 13.

I'm not a mod, unfortunately, so I don't have the ability to lock the thread down until Tinny announces the winner. I'd lock it down at 11am on a Friday sharp if I could.

I am very suprised that you aren't a mod though, well since you are involved heavily in the comps. Maybe we should make a petition to Tinman to make you a mod for that section so that you can lock the applicable threads

I'm not all that fussed about it, to be honest. The only comp I look after is the Exclusives comp, and I just started doing it one day because I was a little bored. Figured I may as well keep on doing it - and it saves Syco from looking after the small comps so he can babysit the bigger ones.

I see Tinny was playing nice - he moved the late entries into the new thread himself. :)
