And ya, don't get a "PS3 HDMI cable", it's just a normal HDMI cable, but get a decent quality one.
Unless you only have a CRT TV, then just use the cables that come with the console

Mine didn't come with one, neither do xbox's, unless they're putting them in with the nice new-age version now

I read an article on this forum a few months ago that from next year, only HDMI support will feature on the PS3...so they'll most probably start shipping the units with HDMI cables in December of this year.
 
I think I will go to Hi-Fi Corp and IC and check out the cables there.

If someone can just post a link the right HDMI cable please? (if there is such a thing) Just so that I don't go out and buy the wrong one :p

Lol just jokes, if u want a decent HDMI cable make sure to get one that is gold plated, otherwise any HDMI cable will do.

I got a Wharfdale one at Hifi corp that's quite nice, I think it was about R150. They also have a Monster one for about R800, which is just crazy. I think you only realise the benefit of the really expensive ones if you're putting the sound through a high-end HD sound system as well.
