Grim which one of these cards would you say is better:

1GB AMD Radeon HD 6870m or 1.5GB GDDR5 Nividia GeForce GTX560m ? im shopping around for that Alienware of mine and found the Alienware $100 ceaper on Fry's (with more ram than on the Dell site) im also hoping that they will have specials on these the day after Christmas on that whole "black Friday" sale.

Wenz, honestly I would go with the 6870. Ati offer better value for money IMO.

I assume those are the mobile chips if its in a laptop.

Have you not considered building a desktop rather?

isnt there compatibility issues with AMD though? or am i mis the plot? ja this is for a laptop. the Nvidia is $200 more so i guess i will keep the Radeon then as it comes standard. i have considered it but i have my heart set on an Alienware Laptop....

No comparability issues that I know of. Yeah stick with the Ati. Thats what I would do.

Do you realise the machine you could buy for the price of a Alienware :p
