Turbo cars are awsome(addicted to boost)
Non turbo cars that are built properly are also wicked.
My 1 mate has vw fox that's around 136kw on the wheels and its non turbo and super reliable and quick.

So yeah im undecided:D
 
a decently built turbo car is also super reliable. I have had no major issues with mine ever.

and the sound get's your lots of attention LOOOOOOL!

Rally blue spray job ( I need to respray the car as the previous mofo stuffed up the job)
Semi pro race suspension.

The car is stil under construction though
I still want to do more, was thinking of doing a t3/4 turbo conversion
but im still undecided about that:confused:

i'm also sitting with a 1600 J2 Elantra. 303 000km
where did you get the suspension? price?
And what did you do with the brakes/hubs?
Mine now needs to have the head done, valves or sumthing is making a racket.

Was done by a friend of my dad. I'll get his details and pm it to you.
Can't remember the price but it wasn't to bad.
The brakes are still the normal set up but i'll be changing to a 2004 tiburon braking set up in the near future. Break docter in Germiston will be doing the conversion on that!!
(I must admit my brakes don't last all that long):D

Must say though that the car is insanely tough!!
Takes alot of punishment!!

other cars wich ppl allways underestimate is daewoo.

wanna know why they make huge power, and I mean really huge?

cause it's opel :)

all opel parts! My tuner only uses daewoo 16V heads in all his builds. His 400KW, my mates 264KW, my 153KW corsa, all daewoo heads.

and some other parts too!

That's true now that you mention it.
A guy with a silver daewoo pulled in next to me in boksburg down towards the centre and he destroyed me..His car was turbo'd though..Mmmmm Microwaves go can go fast:D
 
yes Daewoo bought all opels plans and stuff many moons ago. so their parts are 100% sharp hence me heaving a daewoo 16V head on my Corsa Gsi
 
it is a bit big yes but it is bored out to 1800. remember ppl are running T66 turbo's off 2.0 so it's fine.

He WIIIIIIILLLL have turbo lag and lots of it, but once that boost comes in it will kick HARD
