At the risk of inspiring the ire of the forum elite, well said. Nothing against the TK regulars (or TK for that matter), but it does stick in my craw when they're the ones most vocal about other members post-whoring.

Heh. The TK thing again. The thing about the TK though, is that it was around waaaaaay before the activity contests and it has always been pretty busy. We're at iteration 9 of it right now. Basically, if you feel like having a chat that doesn't fit in anywhere else, you do it there.

We are pretty vocal about rubbish that goes on with the forum, but we do it when it is warranted. Like this thread, for example. Or obvious "lol 10/characters" posts. We also happened upon the entire Orion-debacle.

I encourage everyone to come have a chat with us common-folk in there. Not only will you "post-whore", like you so succinctly put it, but I can guarantee that you'll make a new virtual (and in many cases, real) friend in there. :)

As I said, I honestly don't have any problem with TK or its denizens, but I just feel that it's a bit hypocritical with them being the most vocal when it comes to what they consider to be post-count padding through spam, when TK itself is really nothing more than a massive spam-fest. Not that I'm saying TK being a spam-fest is a bad thing, but don't complain about that which you're doing yourself.

I'll take a raincheck on your invite to join in on TK, though. I barely have time to check up on the forums as it is, so I'd never have any idea of what's going on in TK. :p
 
Urmm...okaayy. I was like, wow, i just wanted a drumroll thread for the unveiling of my avatar not this conspiracy threory. I am currently at another office of ours got to work late and can only get to my main pc probly tomorrow or day after but yes like someone here said, no way can it live up to all this 'hype's.

And remind me to not hint at my gender again...sheesh!!?

I think you are missing the point, TK is about posting anything that doesn't belong in another thread (as one example), it is very conversational in nature hence the high number of posts. No one is denying that TK is a 'spam fest'.

So nothing hypocritical about folks who post in TK, I just think you have got it all wrong.
 
Okay seems my user panel is now active so when i am at my main pc again i'll put the avatar where my mouth is. But right now I have to go because as always, the dead are calling. Damn it why do people have to die so much? Keep this thread alive I'll post tomorrow hopefully, will try my best.

Right, now I know where this is heading. I'm about 82.5% sure what form your avatar will take. Not a big fan of your work, btw, but definite points for style :D

I don't want to give it away since I may actually be right and s/he didn't just do a drumroll but pulled out a full-on guitar solo as well. And when I say I'm not a big fan of AEB's work, I don't mean his/her posts on the forum ;)
