The US protect IP Act - Big media seeking to wreck the internet as we know it

The first thing after implementation takes place is that they will attempt to force other countries to adopt thier polices, like they always do
I form part of a Community is based in the Russian Federation that was forced to go off the radar when the US decided that it would start forcing Russia, by means of sanctions and trade limitations to seek out Internet Specific Communities that the US had identified as being a threat to one of their major exports
That community still exists and it is more tightly knit than ever

My Point is that they cannot, unless they are overly naive, imagine that they can stop or shape the content of the Internet to something they either approve of or dissaprove of
The Internet is humanity, with all its failures and an unlimited level of potential

1st of all, this will never pass. The Occupy Wallstreet movements have proven that people will not sit idly by for these kinds of infringements. If it still manages to magically pass, it sure as hell ain't gonna stop anyone, as Xero explained a few times already.

Uhm.... no.

The Occupy movement is still going strong RIGHT ACROSS america, in most cases it's the police who's been fucked up. The protesters are getting what they want.
