So we started investigating and the Michonne 3 part series launches on the 23rd of February!

For those of you that dont know The Walking Dead Telltale series started of with no direct links to the comic book series, or the TV show, Season one focuses on a man named Lee and a girl he is looking after, Clementine. There was then a some DLC released called 400 Days which basically kept us entertained before season 2 was released, and now it seems the Michonne series is here to keep us going while we wait for season 3 of the game.

If you haven't played a Telltale game series, I would highly recommend you give one a go, The Walking Dead series is particularity good, but the Telltale games in general are fantastic.

One of the best games that I've ever played. it's just the kind of game that I'll never forget. It's filled with emotion and just amazing story telling. Season 2 wasn't too bad either.

Is there going to be a season 3? I haven't finished season 2 yet....

There is definitely a season 3 in the pipe line, not sure when it will arrive though... Im still trying to win a bloody game of Rock Paper scissors for a trophy in 400 days... Will tackle season 2 asap!

Turns out the new Michonne series runs from comic #126 to comic #139 , for those of you that havent read the comics,

Spoiler: show
Michonne is missing from the comics for these 13 issues, she leaves Zeek and goes out to sea on a fishing ship

So im really Excited to see what they have in mind here! Its fantastic that they are filling in gaps to the story!

Congrats Tom, see you got the plat for it :) Easy one hey. Season 1 was better than season 2 for me. Defs looking forward to season 3 and the Michonne series.

Loved the first two seasons and looking forward to Michonne, but I do wish they would upgrade the animations a little. With the success the series has had I can't imagine they don't have the budget to improve things a bit. I just feel a game with such incredible stories has some of it's impact removed by limited character animation. But will play regardless and hope that maybe they've done so for season 3.

I find the graphics quite fitting and appropriate tbh. It fits the gritty graphic novel feel but that's just me.
I feel the same, can't wait for season 3!
Season 1 made me cry like lil b!tch lol.

The graphics are fine, I can appreciate the artstyle, but the animation could be improved. The way the characters move and their facial expressions etc can take emotional voice performances to an even greater level.

Nemesis ha ha thanks bud :D its not a really real plat lol... Still need to play season 2, FFS it took me a long time to win the ching chong cha (rock paper scissors) in 400 days... That was the last trophy i needed for the 100% complete, but you get the plat before that even...

I have to say that i love the art style, Agreed with Edelweiss the gritty style reminds me so much of a graphic novel, but i also agree with brendanvb the animations could be improved, but its the same with all the TellTale games, its what sets them apart from the rest, and i can appreciate that...

So iv finished the first Episode in the Michonne mini series, and my word have they taken a step up from season 1 and 2!!!

The art style and music is simply sublime! There are parts in the beginning where they incorporate comic book panels into the smoke clouds in the back ground, and the visual effects are fantastic!

The game play has also been improved, there is a bit more to it than just the walking and talking and making the choices, there is more of the dodging with directions we saw introduced in season 2, and a lot more, mash X then push square circle or triangle at random to complete the task... The episode probably took me 40 - 60 minutes to complete, so its roughly the same amount of time as one of the episodes in the previous seasons...

The story line is really interesting! It fills in a nice gap in the comics, and it works really well! There are a few interesting "psychological" aspects to the mini series as well which adds nicely to the all round package.

All in all The Michonne series is fantastic! To anyone that is a fan of the games i would HIGHLY recommend adding this to your list of games... Cant wait for the next episode! coming in march no official release date as of yet...

Season two doesn't have platinum trophy even on 100% completion. Not sure why they would do this.

I was also a little disappointed but the season 1 plat was a bit of a freebee lol...

Do yourself a favor and play the Michonne game, its fantastic... And a great piece of filler while we wait for season 3! Im gona start the second episode soon, its only 3 episodes, but its also pretty cheap...

I'll def try that thanks.

So i recently finished the Michonne game, and holy SHIT SNACKS!!! is it awesome!

I highly recommend the game to any fan of the series, or any fan of a Telltale game. There is so much taken from the comics in the form of original art work, comic panels etc in the intro's and the music is just phenomenal!

My only criticism would be that it had to end! On average iv found that each episode in a season is roughly 40 minutes long, and this is no different. They really do put you in a few situations where the decisions you have to make are not easy ones... I love seeing the community choices at the end of each episode compared to my own.

Telltale really have taken this style of game to another level here... :D

Really enjoyed Season 1. Pulled on those heart strings. Need to play Season 2 sometimes and Michonne. I believe they working on Season 3.
