The Wall of Game

Xero

Official Zombie Slayer
... so I started this project because I have to have some sort of large format wall coverage dedicated to gaming.
The final outcome of this should be a singular room in my house that has every major gaming system in it.
Currently, the wall has the following systems :

1 x PC - Media/Gaming Rig
1 x PsOne
1 x PS2 Big Boy
1 x PS2 Slimline
2 x Sony PSP
1 x PS3 Phat
1 x Xbox (Original)
3 x Xbox 360's
1 x Atari Flashback
1 x 8Bit Cartridge System
1 x Sega Mega Drive
1 x Sega Dreamcast
1 x Nintendo Gamecube
1 x Nintendo Wii
1 x Nintendo DS
1 x Sega Genesis
1 x Sega Master System
1 x Atari 2600 (Thanks Again Jack)
1 x Sega Saturn (Thanks Fivel)

What else do I need?

The List
Nintendo NES
Nintendo SNES
Nintendo N64
Atari Jaguar
Neo Geo
Sony Playstation 1 (Same as the PSOne but the original Size and form factor)
Sony PSX

I'm planning to track down and acquire these as time goes on and will update everyone with pics as soon as we have completed our move in August
If anyone knows of anywhere I can find the consoles required, or if anyone HAS any of the consoles , please Pm me as I would be interested in buying them locally instead of sourcing them through the net

Hmm, I actually bought a Mega Drive 2,looking for the original Genesis system

Actually the PSX is not the PS One, it was a PS2 media center, you looking for the original PS One, also the Genesis was Megadrive just what the Americans called it, you should look for a Megadrive 1 or 3, but the 3 is rare. For some really rare consoles look at finding a CD-I, 3DO, Apple Pippin etc...

The controllers on the retail Genesis and Mega Drive units were slightly different
But yes essentially the same hardware barring a few minor revisions.

The 3 is nearly impossible to find, even form the US :/
The 3DO, I'm working on it, didn't add it to the list as yet until I have a confirmation on an actual working on ein existance

Its on the list actually

Well it's an awesome project. You shouldn't have too much problem tracking down a Genesis or SNES, although the Jag and 3DO is definitely going to present some challenge. (I saw an original NES selling second hand for about R2000 last year :/

Yeah its hard finding some of these consoles in working condition
I restore the older ones myself, but starting off with something that at least switches on is a big bonus
I have a Mega Drive 1 for instance, but it is non functional at this stage, working on getting it fully operational as well.

Same as the PSone you say? But this PSX runs both PS1 and PS2 games, introduced Sony's XMB bar, and a few other things...? It was only released in Japan, however. Correct me if I'm just misunderstanding ;)

No, I'm actually referring to the Playstation ONE, the old box version , first Playstation to be released, you are right though its not called the PSX
My bad, the PSX , actually termed that way was as stated a PS2 Media edition
Now I have to wonder if I would be able to find one of those though

Murph, I just closed on that Master System
Thanks for showing me the link, I'll update the list as soon as it arrives here

I have both, as well as a Commodore 128, not classified as a console though, hence not included
