so this morning i get the message E74 when i turned on the console. fun really...

no warranty left on it so pretty much buggered in terms of getting anything replaced

With no warranty, you can get it replaced for about R700. Not exactly sure on the price, but it's way better then buying a new one.

it's a 2007 model. plus i can't find the proof of purchase either.

Just buy a new one since there are so many cheap deals going on these days. That or give your PS3 some loving since she is far less likely to leave you
