The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition giveaway

Currently I'm saving for a ring and thus I won't be buying the collectors edition of Witcher 2. This in itself isn't a problem until you consider that my girlfriend is a serious gamer and fanatical about Diablo 3. When it finally comes out (at which point I should just about be done saving) I will need a good game to keep myself sane. What better game then to warm the cockles of my lonely heart than Witcher 2 CE?

After owning the original Witcher and embarking on an epic journey to find a retail copy of The Witcher Enhanced Edition (and eventually finding it zomg!), I would be honored to own The Witcher 2 Collectors Edition to add to my collection of "Witcher" games. CDPROJECT has really produced a gem with The Witcher IP I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel :D
 
The Witcher 2, even in the Standard Edition format, will be a game totally worth a thousand bucks. And since other recent RPG's have been less than stellar (*cough* Dragon Age 2 *cough*) my role playing bone needs something to tickle its fancy. With the hardcore combat and role playing features, Witcher 2 will be the one to look out for!
 
I think I should win it cause I'm a huge RPG fan and I play the RPG outta them (see what I did there?). Plus my desk is looking rather empty - could do with that awesome statuette and all the other awesome collectibles lying around so that I don't look so poor, and so that my social status could reach new levels (note: I didn't say higher or lower:p) :D
 
I'd like to win The Witcher 2 Collector’s Edition because I'm out of games to play, and have resorted to playing Dragon Age 2 again (feel sorry for me). Plus, it was my birthday yesterday so winning this would be an awesome present :D

I would like to give the Witcher 2 a chance because when the Witcher 1 was out there were some serious problems with memory leaks in Vista that caused the game to be unstable. Even though the game was fun it became frustrating and I never finished it.

So in summary I think the Witcher 2 has a lot to make up for and I want to give it that chance and I can' think of a better way than with a collectors edition. :p
 
The first Witcher game was just plain EPIC!!! It is easily by far my most loved game in a long time. Havent seen any RPG that came close to it.

The collectors edition will be a welcomed addition to my collection, and from what I have seen and read it looks brilliant.
 
I hope I win!! The collectors edition looks like a truly worthy package of collectibles! This would be my second collectors edition ever!! Unfortunately I was also plagued by bugs in the first game and never completed it. I'm sure the sequel should be sorted out! I can't wait to play it! I enjoy basically all RPG's (yes, Dragon Age 2 was awesome!) and I'm sure I'll love The Witcher 2!

PS: I'm a lurker on the mygaming forums, reading lots of articles etc., but I've been part of MyBB since 2005!

As a fan of Andrzej Sapkowski Books before the actual Witcher game you can understand the excitement when the First game was released. With Witcher 2 coming out I can't wait, and the collectors edition will make my collection perfect.

I don’t know much about the game - but i like anything about witches and crafts in movies so I’m sure any game would be just as interesting. Especially liked Charmed:)
Good at street fighter if that helps in any way;)
 
I've suffered mind-numbing boredom since Witcher 1. I'm hoping Witcher 2 will be as awesome if not more so.

Witcher 1 was the best RPG I've played since Baldur's Gate 2. It eally gave me confidence in unknown development houses for RPGs. Besides the fact that the Collector's edition looks awesome, I love having the collector's editions, lined up on my shelf, with all my other games :) Just hit a pot hole and had to fork out a few grand to fix, so can't afford to get one on my own now :(

I've been having a really difficult time lately and need something to keep my mind off things. I loved the first Witcher, got it even before the enhanced edition came out, it was one epic game. I'm a fan of the books as well, and own both of the translated ones(and looking forward to the others!) Really enjoy the setting, characters, concepts and themes in the games and books, its quite unique among the current fantasy genre.
 
The Witcher is one of the last truly great RPGs out there! The studio is dedicated to the game and the player base and not just to the publisher. They put in effort in all the ways possible. The game is realistic and as close to a paper based role playing game that you will get. The moral choices are "grey" rather than black and white which makes the game even more immersive! I would love to get my hands on the collectors edition so I can have a look into the development process of the game!

Whether I win or not, if Witcher 2 is even close to its predecessor, I would consider this game one of the all time great RPGs to be placed on the pedestal with the likes of Icewind Dale and Baldors Gate (personal opinion)
