The Witcher 2 on console?!

The devs have said they will look at a ps3 and xbox360 version post pc version. Same goes for modding tools, for right now they are just concentrating on delivering the best crpg they can.

I hope with every fibre of my being that the game sells extremely well on PC and CD Projekt RED decides to bring it to consoles as well. I am very glad that they focused on the PC version first and foremest as The Witcher is a franchise that belongs on PC more than any other platform, but I also really want it to come to console. I am getting the CE as a belated birthday gift from my friends, but I very much doubt that my PC will be able to handle it sufficiently. If they bring it to consoles I will at least be able to play the game without having to sacrifice framerate and such (hopefully :p).

I know if there is a console version it will be inferior to the PC version in every possible way, but as long as I can play the game I don't care - I will make a plan to play it as it's meant to be played on a PC eventually. Also, if it comes to consoles more people will get to experience the awesomeness that is The Witcher and that is a very good thing. Laslty, if there is a console version there might also be a CE for the consoles and then I can get that as well.

Dude I've been watching all the vids I can on The Witcher 2 and I must say it looks brilliant! It looks like they improved upon The Witcher in all ways! It looks like a REAL RPG :D! God knows I need one after the failure that was Dragon Age 2 :(.
 
Yeah man, it looks amazing. Like I've said a few times before, The Witcher 2 is the only game that has any chance of being better than The Witcher in my book, and from the looks of things it is going to be a lot better. I only hope that it runs on my PC, even if it runs like shit I'll still play it. As long as it runs.

Haha, aag shame dude I feel for you! To have the sequel to your all time fav game coming out and not being able to experience it in all it's glory :(, that sucks!

What are the specs of your machine mate?
 
I have an archaic system dude:

2.80 GHz dual core CPU
2GB RAM
512MB GeForce 8500

The only (minimum) requirement I don't quite meet is the graphics card. It needs a 8800 with pixel shader 3.0 and I'm not sure if my graphics card has pixel shader 3.0. I guess I could have saved up for a new PC, but then I would have missed out on all the great PS3 games that I played recently and plan to get in the next few months.

I can wait though. Whether I have to wait 'till it comes to console one day or 'till I have a PC that can run it properly doesn't really bother me. I know it will be worth the wait.

Dude I have an old ATI HD 4670 (I know it's not the best but better than your 8500) when I upgrade (June) you can have it if you want?
