So I'm starting up this game again. I didn't get TOO far the first time but I've downloaded a couple of patches, upgraded it to the enhanced edition and also downloaded patch 1.5 that fixes the graphics and removes the DRM.

What did you guys think of this game?
 
I loved it. Liked every thing about it including the dirty picks lol.
 
I've been looking for it (the enchanced edition) for about a year now and cant find it anywhere (I dont want to download it). I wonder if they will re-release it anytime soon. If I remember correctly the enchanced edition included a game editior?
 
Excellent game. I played the first part twice, and the second time finally got into the main city. But it took me so long to get there, that I haven't felt inspired yet to finish it ... But it is still on my machine, so as soon as I have the inspiration and energy, I will definitely continue playing it again. But tonight I am installing Dragon Age so it won't be soon :)
 
Loved it, so immersive. It comes in at #2 just behind COD4 for most time wasted without realising it. My only complaint was slogging from one side of the world to the other. Only way to get around it is to queue up a shedload of quests and try to find a route that has a few stops along the way :) And I'd rather have a block/parry/facestab combat system than the rhythm combat, but the magic signs made up for that. Other than that, the story and background is great, and it also got me reading Andrzej Sapkowski's translated books which rock.
 
i played this game over so many times. its really awesome :) u must get the DLC for it too!

cant wait for Witcher 2 woop! :D
