If your one of the lucky ones a few years.But the new chipset has fixed most of the problems anyhow so I heard failing is less likely to happen.You also have that 3 year RROD warranty;)
 
I found keeping mine as cool as possible helped it, also always install games to you HDD since so much more heat is generated when reading off a disc.

But sadly expect it to go down sooner than later. I have gone through 2 now, and a few of my friends up to 5. Funny thing is most bought a PS3 at its release and NONE of those have broken...

Anyways before a PS3 vs. Xbox debate hits, both consoles are sweet and I plan to get a replacement Xbox early next year to go along with my PS3.
 
Most importantly.... I put a decent ordinary house-hold fan blowing on it when I play (specifically during summer).

Personally that has helped me more than any specialized cooler one can buy. Also I keep dust off my consoles when it is off, by using some kind of covering, and when needed I use compressed air to clean things out.

I have read some horror stories about these specialized fans one can use with their consoles. I bought a decent one a while back and it seemed my house-hold fan did a far better job at keeping it cool.

Keeping it as cool as possible is key.
 
Question - How do I find and join multiplayer games online?

Question - I see that MS Points are available in US points and UK Points, what is the difference?

I would like to sign up up for Xbox Live. Problem is, I don't have a UK address to use.
I did ask someone I know in England to supply me with an address, but they are concerned that submitting a false address for myself could get people into trouble.
What should I do?
 
I just have one silly little question, when you guys play fps like MW2, do you use a mouse and keyboard with your xbox or just the controller?

I dont own an xbox but my dad recently got himself one and I've played turok on it with a controller and it just seems a bit tricker, I also have a xbox controller for my pc and I played most of kane and lynch with it but find when you need fast accuracy with guns the controller just doesent do it for me.

So are you guys just leet or do you use a keyboard and mouse?

They're just bad-ass.

I still struggle with FPS on the console, so I rather stick with platform or racing games instead.
