Ok just state things that games have taught you, I'll start and set the tone (silly)

Max Payne 1 and 2
You can find painkillers ANYWHERE! LOL

Stalker taught me that a bottle of vodka can cure radiation poisoning.

COD - Time heals all wounds, simply hiding behind an object for a couple of seconds will replenish your health fully.

Mario - If you’re in a castle looking for a lost loved one, they’re in another one.

Aliens, if your not shooting them, you're doing the nasty with them ;-)
Hookers heal you
No matter how many times I slam my car into a wall it looks perfectly fine.
There is normal jump and sometimes there is double jump.
Swimming must be one of the most difficult things to do.

GTA - 1) No-one ever locks their car doors whilst driving and you can pull a person out of a car with little or no effort.

2) If you can outrun or drive far enough, cops will suddenly lose interest in the fact that you just made a chain of cars explode in the middle of the city.

Red Alert: Some people are tough enough to survive a point blank nuclear blast.

Crysis: Shining silver is apparently a very good cammoflage in the jungle.

Metal Gear Solid (1/2): Soldiers apparently can't see more than a 3 meters infront of them.

Gears of War: 5 ton boomers instantly become weightless apon death.

Splinter Sell: A bright green glow can't be seen in the pitch dark.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Guns are very very innacurate at point blank range.
