Prophet is known for his 'unique' sense of humor. But don't let him or the rest get you down. I'm sure they have their reasons. Honestly I don't even try to enter the competitions anymore as I feel my chance of winning is about 0%. I'd just save up the money and buy the game. Otherwise this is actually a nice forum, as long as you find your happy place in it :)
 
It's a known issue that comps draw a lot of spammers; veteran members here are thus on a bit of a short fuse when it comes to newbies around competition time.

Don't let the actions of a few ruin it for you. We're a really friendly forum (aside from a bit of misplaced newbie hazing), just hang around for a bit and see.

P.S. Don't take it personally, Prophet doesn't play nice with ANYONE :p

Nobodies that get senior status and the only way they feel important is on the forum, before returning back to the real world. Just
ignore them, feel sad for them, they only have e-penis and nothing more.
 
Becoming quite the norm these days for new members who actually try stick around, to be gang-banged by the usual suspects. Maybe the moderation can be a little more on the tough side and root these jerks out. Then again, no holding of breath on my part.

Respect is earned:) Most of the new guys vanish once the comp is done. Which is a shame.
 
Like Dan said, most of the older members have a short fuse, even myself from time to time. However when it comes to other new users flaming you, ignore them and move along. When it comes to the comps, I check users posts and the timing in between and if I find any discrepancies I make note of them and I inform the person of their fault before banning them from a comp. If you have any issues just shout and we will try assist where possible as the senior members. Or just shout at the mods and let them handle the matters at hand. ;)

Yeah I agree, he never lets me win lol.

I actually really do enjoy this forum and happily spend my time at work bashing the keys to get some sort of legible post up.
Oh yeah Axon, enter, the chance to win something for free is always worth it, but hey don't enter, it helps my chances of winning lol
 
@ Pippa - at the end of the day, the cool peeps outnumber the dickheads ...... stick around, ignore them or report them and enjoy what this forum can be.
